However, if the existing surface is badly scratched or worn, it should be lightly sanded and finished with one of the Osmo Polyx®-Oils, rather than use Maintenance Oil.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMaintenance Oil is especially recommended for high traffic areas such as restaurants and cafes etc.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eApplication is generally one coat applied very thinly. Application should be by low nap microfibre roller or Osmo’s floor brush. For small areas, a new paint brush or lint free cloth can be used for application.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eUse of a slow speed buffing machine with white pad after application of the Maintenance Oil will help to give an even finish to the timber’s surface.
