It is a professional floor finish which is extremely tough, hard wearing and slip resistant. The oil contains fine, compressed organic particles, which are evenly dispersed within the finish, providing an anti-slip surface when cured. It can be used anywhere normal OSMO Polyx®-Oil can be used. It is especially recommended for use on wooden stair treads, and areas that are constantly wet, such as timber bathroom and laundry floors. Also suited for use in commercial areas such as cafes and restaurants and timber flooring in rest homes for the elderly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePolyx®-Oil Anti-slip has been tested in NZ by Opus Laboratories for its anti-slip effectiveness. (Opus Laboratories also conduct testing for BRANZ). When applied correctly, and fully cured, the product has an anti slip rating of R11 which exceeds the requirements of the NZ Building Code. A copy of the test certificate can be supplied upon request.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNot recommended for use on oily and resinous timbers such as Matai, Heart Rimu, Totara, Kwila and Spotted Gum.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEasy to apply. Do not sand between coats, as this will remove the anti-slip particles in the oil. Osmo’s 220mm floor brush with system handle is the recommended applicator.
