Description
After draining the radiator the tester will evacuate all the air from the system enabling the radiator to be refilled without creating air locks and prevents from the engine overheating.
1. Select the suitable size rubber bush to fit radiator neck then tighten tester to the neck securely.
2. Connect cooling system adaptor to the vacuum pump fitting then connect to shop air and open switch lane.
3. Allow air reach a vacuum level between 20-25inHG (50-60cm/HG) of mercury. Close the switch valve and take off the vacuum pump fitting.
4. Connect coolant hose to sitting adaptor then open the switch valve. The coolant hose will fill with coolant and flow into the radiator from the container until gauge pressure reaches zero. If the radiator is not completely filled a further top up may be required.
