ICE Ignition provides replacement gears for its distributors in SG Iron, Bronze, Steel and Nylon.

If you change your cam shaft, you may need to change your gear.  See our recommendations below:

• If the cam is flat tappet hydraulic or mechanical, then we recommend an SG iron gear.


• If it is a cast iron roller (eg Comp –8), then we recommend a hardened steel gear.


• If it is a hardened steel billet, (eg Comp -9) then we recommend a silicon impregnated bronze gear.


• Holden 6/Hemi 6 engines use a Nylon gear
