Description
This quality tester has an impact resistant transparent handle, incorporating a test light, 150cm of heavy duty insulated cable and a crocodile (earth) clamp.
Used establish whether there is an electrical potential at any low voltage point in the system.
By using the pointed contact tip to pierce the insulation on cables, it will also establish if current is present.
This can be helpful when tracing faults and for “breaking into” cable to add to a circuit. Eg, When fitting a tow bar etc.
This tester is suitable for testing electrical DC circuits on vehicles within the voltage range of 6-12 volts only.
WARNING This tester is suitable for testing electrical DC circuits within the range of 6-12 volts only. It is NOT suitable for use on AC mains circuits.
