Description

Our HP Cold Air Intake Heat Shield Reduces Radiant Heat by 90%

Don’t let the heat rob you of horsepower -- get the most out of your vehicle’s performance with our innovative Cold Intake Heat Shield. Most aftermarket aluminum and plastic cold air intake kits lack insulation to prevent the engine and exhaust heat from warming up the intake system. Our Cold Intake Shield kit lowers air intake temperatures and is perfect for use with aftermarket air-intake kits. Not to mention our cold air intake shield sleeve reduces radiant heat by 90% for lower air-intake temperatures and greater fuel efficiency -- how’s that for stopping heat in its tracks?
How it Works
When cooled air enters the fuel system in your vehicle, the system is prevented from heating up at the outset and the density of the air-fuel mixture rises—burning the fuel more efficiently and increasing the overall power produced. You can use this Cold Intake Heat Shield confidently on every day and racetrack applications as it can withstand temperatures of up to 1100°F continuous, 2000°F intermittent, and 500°F direct.
Foil Tape Included for Streamlined Installation
This Cold Intake Heat Shield is simple to install and use, coming in 3” and 4” diameters that fit most air-intake tubes and manufactured with a hook and loop seam for easy access and installation. The shield is also easy to cut, so you can customize the length as needed.

For optimal performance, we have included our patented
heat reflective tape
with your cold air intake shield so that once your product arrives, you will have everything you need for installing the shield and sealing off the ends right then and there!

Intake Installation Tips:

• Measure length of intake pipe/tube
• Trim intake heat shield to fit length of intake system.
• For 90 degree bends, it maybe necessary to cut cold air intake heat shield into 2 or 3 small pieces
• Use provided Cool Foil Tape on ends or on and holes you have cut (for sensors or ports) to prevent fraying.
