It offers four white-light brightness levels, plus a high 19-lumen colour-rendering capability (CRI) setting, a red light to preserve night-acclimated vision, an SOS signal, and a location beacon.
The NU32 is controlled by two push-button switches on the top of the lamp, one for white-light settings and one for red. Charging the headlamp is as simple as plugging in the micro-USB cable; a full charge takes about 3.5 hours and provides runtimes ranging from 1 hour on turbo to 330 hours on ultra-low. A power indicator in the switches keeps you apprised of the battery's status.
