Osmo Wood Wax Finish Transparent is a satin, transparent, wood finish, which combines all the advantages of oils and waxes in one unique product. It can be used on timber furniture, panelling, sarking, architraves, doors, cabinetry and joinery.
One coat application for a transparent effect, followed by one or two coats of clear Polyx Oil depending on timber density. Two coats of Woodwax Transparent will provide a slightly deeper colour. One coat of clear Polyx Oil should be applied as a top coat.
Easy to maintain with a plant based, pH neutral detergent such as Osmo’s Wash and Care.
Suitable for most timbers, however Wood Wax Finish Transparent is not recommended for use on timbers with a high oil and / or resin content such as Matai, Totara, Kwila or Spotted Gum. For these timbers we recommend using one of Osmo’s Oil Stains.
In all cases a trial test to determine suitability is recommended.
