The unique jaw is specifically designed to easily remove and replace Hotchkiss style snap rings on universal joints. These pliers can be used to break loose, remove, and replace even the most highly corroded snap-rings. Also used to remove plastic (push-pin) retainers on several makes and models of late model cars. Made from heat-treated alloy steel.
